To those of you who are in the Madison area, I’m cooking Tibetan food at the Willy Street Co-op, benefiting Literacy Network of Dane County.
This non-profit organization teaches English skills to adults and families so they can achieve financial independence and good health. This group also provides direction for literacy agencies in other states.
I will be making juicy Tibetan meat dumplings (aka Momos) seasoned with “Yerma” (གཡེར་མ), and served with Amdo milk tea. You will travel to a mystical land with my food flavors and learn the cultural significance of our dumplings and tea. So come and join me. The meal is free with a suggested $10 donation to the Literacy Network. Call (608) 251-6776 to make a reservation.
Thursday, August 27 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Hello Jolma, best wishes in your event to benefit the Literacy Network. Your dumplings look sensational!
Thank you, Peggy. Very excited!
Wish we could have enjoyed your dumplings, but have been out of town. Hope you do it again! Good cause too!
Thank you, Kate. I had fun cooking Tibetan food and sharing our culture with people.
