Purple tulip

New Beginnings

Birds sing and flowers lift their bright, blushed faces.

I am drunken by the hyacinth scent and dianthus, and the beauty of tulips in various specie types. Flowering shrubs and pear buds, too, about to burst their blossoms.

Peonies, snapdragons, irises, and lilies will soon stretch their legs to the fullest and showcase their greatness, I trust.

Home away from home, a garden I started seeding a decade ago now decorates my life day after day and season after season, until the first snowflakes flirt and whisper “Spring will be reborn.”

    • Thank you, Peggy. I enjoy gardening, growing both flowers and vegetables. I’m a busy little monkey in the garden from spring through golden autumn. 🙂
